JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Manager is responsible for all business related and off-water aspects of the Club and its facilities and, together with the Sailing Manager and a small, professional team, reports to the Commodore and the Council Members.
With over 1,000 members, a large RYA Training Centre and host to major events, such as the Bloody Mary and the RYA Match Racing Winter Challenge, this is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and thriving club.
The ideal candidate would:
have a flexible approach to work
have a passionate interest in sailing and/or windsurfing
be experienced in managing and balancing a budget and have a solid understanding of all things financial
understand the legal, HR, IT and Health & Safety aspects of running a sports club
have successfully managed a team
be able to develop a programme of promotional activity to attract further members and events to the Club
SALARY
Circa £35,000 p.a. (4 day per week pro-rata could be considered)
