PR ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading Marine Industry PR agency based in Somerset that holds numerous UK and international based marine accounts requires an experienced PR Account Manager to join their busy team.

Ideal Candidates will be used to consumer PR, have 3-5 years experience either in house or preferably from an agency. In particular candidates need experience of running and managing accounts, teams and systems etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

Managing and handling clients
Developing client strategies and PR plans
Managing client meetings and client updates/liaison
Oversee and write client contact reports
Managing account execs
New business pitches
Accountability for client budgets and work loads
Manage a client effectively and profitably
Contribute to corporate strategy and development
Overview of timesheets and servicing levels
Handling enquiries from press
Drafting press releases
Research and collation of information
Lead the research into press lists
Talking to press about their requirements
Organise sending product info and product samples and pictures to press
Oversee sourcing and maintenance of picture library
Oversee web site
Attend client meetings and client events
Oversee client admin
Write articles/features
Set up promotions/sponsorship activities
Organise presentations and client review meetings
Liaison with suppliers eg photolabs, photographers, printers, designers, adv agencies, exhibition contractors, other PR companies, incentives

SALARY

£25,000+ p/a
