JOB DESCRIPTION
Working as part of the sales and marketing team you will:
Provide accurate cost estimates and supporting technical information for the company to submit competitive and profitable tenders.
Deliver accurate costings and lead times for craft manufacture, liasing with finance, production, supply chain, and design teams.
Lead the delivery of a production schedule to maximise utilisation and satisfy customer demand.
Understand the technical drawings/build process to determine supplier and product information.
The successful applicant will:
Be educated to a minimum of A Level or equivalent.
Have previous estimating/cost of sales experience within a manufacturing environment.
Have sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Excel modelling.
Have excellent communication skills, able to present results of analysis to peers and senior managers.
Be able to work well under pressure.
Previous marine experience and an accounting background would be an advantage.
