XSMG World is a privately owned, British boat design and manufacturing company focused on producing a range of award winning and market leading very high speed light craft for the global military market - the XSR Interceptor range of vessels.  The XSR Interceptor has defined new operational horizons for governmental and defence organisations in the maritime arena and is produced by a company whose philosophy is to stay at the leading edge of design and technology, and to continue to drive higher levels of mission success for its clients around the world.

XSMG is seeking highly proficient Design Draughtsmen (of either gender) responsible for converting 3D models into production standard detailed drawings using AutoCad.

Based at the XSMG Technical Centre, Marchwood, Southampton, UK, the successful applicant

• Must have advanced AutoCad skills with a proven track record in delivery of production standard drawings within a marine environment

• Must have good understanding of Solidworks 3D modelling

• Must have previous experience with marine composite construction, mechanical assemblies, and/or systems fit out

• Must be able to deliver against pre-determined goals and work with minimum supervision

• Must be accurate, conscientious , organised, and a good communicator within all areas of the company and outside suppliers

• Previous experience of working on military contracts and to Classification body standards highly advantageous
