The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies and objectives, setting targets, handling key accounts and preparing annual sales budgets. It is expected the right person will have excellent sales and negotiation skills, a good business sense and importantly possess the motivational talents necessary to lead a team.
The successful candidate should have;
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong Sales experience within the marine industry – preferably from an engineering / manufacturing background
- Good business sense.
- The ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Personal initiative and enthusiasm.
- Outstanding communication and people aptitude.
- Good planning and organisational ability.
- The capacity to work calmly under pressure.
- IT, budget and report writing competence.
- A full driving licence.
- Foreign language skills although not essential are increasingly useful.
This role is office based in the South West, but candidates must be willing to travel as required to visit clients, to attend various industry shows and events, and to visit the other offices within the company.
