JOB DESCRIPTION
The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is currently recruiting for a new receptionist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join this well established and world renowned sailing venue.

You will be the face of WPNSA and will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided to our customers whether they are  "first time" sailors or Olympic sailors. In this busy environment a hands on approach and an ability to adapt to last minute changes in demand is essential.

Main responsibilities:

Welcoming visitors and providing information to the various users groups that attend the WPNSA .    Answering incoming phone calls, taking messages and forwarding as appropriate.
Ensure the reception area is maintained in a professional manner and in a way that provides an efficient service.
Managing a number of key administrative areas including boat hoisting and membership.
Reconciling and accounting for all sales and monies received during the day.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
An energetic and positive outlook, and a willingness to 'muck in' and work hard.
Previous reception or administrative experience, including the delivery of high end customer service.       
Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with all types of customer.
The ability to work as part of a team and a 'hands on' approach to all aspects of administration.
Self motivation and the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative, sometimes in an extremely busy environment and with long hours.
Experience of cash handling.
Flexibility to react to changing business needs.

40 hours per week, with the flexibility to support business demand including regular weekend work.
