Due to expansion, a luxury boatbuilder based on the South Coast require a skilled 2D/3D Design individual to join their team.
The role will focus around formulation of technical drawings to be passed to the production team for fabrication. As this brand offer both production level and custom products you will likely be required to work across both fields to produce these final documents before they are produced.
The ideal candidate will have ideally spent a period of time working in a production type environment, and therefore have a knowledge, albeit basic, or the kinds of issues and problems that could arise for the production team and therefore be able to adjust or develop drawings to account for this. You will have worked on a regular basis with Autocad 2D/CD and Rhino 3D, so a working knowledge or strong proficiency with these programs is very important
Experience working with a similar small boatbuilder would be advantageous, as will a number of years experience as a Draughtsperson or technical designer.

Salary:
£24-26000.pa.
