Responsible for building some very high end luxury motoryachts, this busy Italian brand are seeking an experience Project Manager to to join their growing team in anticipation of the launch of the first in a new line of semi-custom vessels. With an already established range of yachts in their armoury, this ongoing expansion means that there is a need to add further expertise.
You will be a Project Manager with experience working in a number of the large European yards in either Holland or Germany for a minimum of ten years, and be able to speak your native language as well as fluent English and Italian (if not mother tongue already).
Overseeing the entire project you will be well versed in budgeting, time-planning, man management and the control of external contractors. You will be working with an established data entry system to ensure that clear and obvious goals and targets are hit and be able to be accountable to senior managers at all stages of the build project.
To be considered for this position you will need to be able to prove:
– 10+ years work in a superyacht or semi-custom environment as a Project Manager in a SHORE-BASED position.
– Able to account for a minimum of 5 years as a SSHO
– Possess a degree or equivalent in Naval or Mechanical Engineering
As well as this a strong ability to work proactively, excellent people skills and a flexible mentality are all key to the position.
