CHARTER SALES & OPERATIONS MANAGER

The post holder is responsible sales and day-to-day operation of Seaoman Charter business. 
 
Sales: Manage the sale of charters to local, regional and international clients and tour operators.
 
Operations: Training and certification of our powerboat instructors and skippers, dealing with customer enquiries and bookings, maintaining the yachts and general administration involved with the business.

Established in 2008, Oman Sail is a national initiative that uses the power of sport to contribute to the development of the Omani people. Responsibility:
 
Mange the sales process to achieve annual targets
Manage an internationally recognised RYA powerboat scheme.
Manage existing training and charter vessels, and source additions to the fleet, through business relationships with yacht manufacturers, distributers and private owners.
Create Charter holiday packages for both the local and international market.
Management of Charter's operational budgets, including revenue optimisation as well as control of operating costs.
Responsible for producing Operating Procedures, which are specific for each activity within Charter. Furthermore, train all staff to make sure they understand these.
Train new and existing staff and carry out assessments. Including organising any external examinations.
Able to skipper all vessels for trips, deliveries and courses.
Responsible for the safety and conduct of all vessels and staff, both on and off the water, including the maintenance of safety equipment. 
Lead the booking process and driving sales and seeking out new markets.  
Advise the Head of Commercial Operations on all operational developments including, staff training, operational capability, licensing changes, business opportunities, successes and new business opportunities.
