At RS Sailing Store, we sell RS dinghy spares, as well as a large range all dinghy parts. We also retail a large range of dinghy sailing clothing.
 
We are looking for a Part Sales Person to join our very busy shop and mail order department. The role will consist of day to day retail tasks such as; all aspects of mail ordering, front of house, telephone enquiries & sales, as well as boats shows and event support.
 
Applicants should be able to work under their own initiative, have a "can do" attitude, be confident, flexible, organised, and have a keen interest in dinghy sailing. 
 
 
Description:
Serving the parts needs for the existing and new customer accounts, covering every aspect from beginning to end.
o        Part Quotations
o        Processing orders, using Sage accounts
o        Invoicing. (Liaising with accounts department.).
 
Existing and new account management.
o        Draw up agreeable plans with companies to ensure they have sufficient stock to service their region relevant to RS boats and (or) Magic Marine goods sold historically in their territory.   
o        Draw up suggested orders upselling the idea of RS Sailing Store being the one stop chandler for the companys needs, from Rope to Magic Marine range.  
 
 Build customer accounts confidence.
o        Deliver world class customer service
o        Demonstrate extensive product knowledge (Training provided.)
o        Manage customer expectation
o        Resolve and response to all customer concerns and complaints
o        Look for opportunities to upsell from RS Sailing Stores extensive product catalogue. 
   General retailing duties.  (Applies to all job positions within RSS.)
o        Serving customers front of house
o        Taking mail orders
o        Delivering high level customer service, and managing customer expectation. 
o        Attending boat shows
