JOB DESCRIPTION
Elvstrom Sobstad require a Sail Loft Manager to oversee the day to day running of our busy sail loft based on the river Hamble, you will be working with a small team of sailmakers which are already in place. The role requires the following but is not restricted to:
- Ordering and monitoring levels of stock
- Managing of the UK service and production log
- Prioritising works loads to ensure lead times are met
- Build on existing relationships with customers
- Source new customers
A successful candidate will be able to be hands on with production and finishing, therefore relevant sailmaking experience is essential which spans from dinghies to large yachts.
This is a busy and successful sail loft which provides an attractive opportunity for a candidate with the right sailmaking, management and people skills, where effectively you will be involved at a level where you will be running your own sail loft.
SALARY
Excellent basic salary with an attractive performance bonus structure.
