OPERATIONS MANAGER - SOUTHAMPTON, UK

Ocean Safety Ltd is looking for a new Operation Manager to manage all aspects of their busy operations department in their Southampton office.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of Operations experience and be conversant with managing all aspect of stock control. The candidate would ideally have knowledge of the marine safety industry however this is not essential if management experience is of a high enough standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of people and must have experience in personnel/time management.

Principle Responsibilities:

    * Manage Operations team to ensure smooth running of personnel.
    * Coordination of all Sales Order Processing post generation from the Sales Department
    * Dispatch of all goods in coordination with the Stores Supervisor
    * Dangerous Goods and all DG Notes/paperwork
    * Coordinate all Logistical support for dispatch of stock including all collections/deliveries for Service Department.
    * Coordinate all customer Returns and Warranty repairs/replacements/shortages.
    * Coordinate Special Order deliveries with Procurement department.
    * Ensure all Sales Order Processing/Invoicing paperwork is up to date at all times.
    * Manage Export Shipping.
    * Manage Stock Movement
    * Manage Stock Values/Records

The Operations department is a very busy area of the business and the candidate must be an excellent communicator and be able to illustrate the ability to work under pressure and daily deadlines.
SALARY

Dependant on experience.
