SALES AND MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR - £30,000pa+ – SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is a key role, dealing with primary customer contact, processing orders and generating new sales. Due to the small size of the office team the Sales and Marketing Coordinator role is varied and requires a broad skill set. Key tasks will be as follows:

    * New vessel sales: Answering incoming enquiries, discussing specifications, intended use and reviewing options. Constructing offers from the standard pricing lists and working with the team to produce custom specifications.
    * Through build customer management: Keeping in contact with the client during the build of their vessel, informing the client of progress, discussing changes and confirming detailed requirements. Customer handover and acceptance.
    * Forward sales: Contact with yards, project managers, captains and crew on forward requirements. Forming and maintaining good relationships with key industry individuals and keeping them up to date with the services our client can offer.
    * Marketing: Generation of marketing material including press releases, shows and web marketing. Contacting and visiting potential clients, builders etc. Keeping contact with the media. Exploring market opportunities and openings and presenting possibilities to the Management team.

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Production and Design Departments. They will give input on Sales and Marketing related strategic decisions to the General Manager and Directors, allowing scope for career development. The successful candidate will work closely with the rest of the team, yet be very self motivated in completing their tasks and will able to work well under pressure. The role is a full time permanent position. Some travelling will be required as will some flexible working.

Desired Skills:

    * IT literate in MS systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. Visual editing programs, CAD and MS Project a bonus.
    * Technical experience in the boating field, either through the luxury yacht market or in small boat construction.
    * Experience in driving and operating RIBs and other small boats, including boat handling, launching and recovery
    * Customer or client facing experience
    * A personable manner offering the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues is a must

SALARY

£30,000 +
