Business Development Executive required to represent and promote a trade association for the leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry and its members, travelling across the South of England.
You will be the key contact point for members, non-members, relevant associations and strategic partners in the region.
The role is focused on recruitment and retention of members by visiting marine companies in the southern UK region.
You will be expected to maintain and grow the level of membership in the region to an annually agreed target, directly address any issues raised and nurture relationships.
You will be targeted to increase the number of non-member companies and membership.
Event management experience would be key in executing events, functions and other activities in the region, i.e. Boat Shows including London and Southampton.
You MUST have good marine industry knowledge and excellent relationship management skills.
You are confident and personable, able to work on your own initiative and have good office/computer skills.
You have the freedom to plan your own schedule adhering to targets, so you must be expert level in time/day management.

This is a home based role – the only constraint is that you are located South of the M4 corridor. Cornwall, Devon, Sussex, Somerset, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent are all feasible locations.
