Exciting role for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Stress engineering experience to work with a Superyacht builder in Germany.
With a huge presence in the Superyacht sector, this brand seek some of the highest skilled individuals within the marine sector to produce some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring yachts in the world. 
Within this role you will be working as part of a strong team of individuals to ascertain stress and design calculations across a range of onboard systems, included but not limited to stabilisers, propulsion systems, water systems and A/C. Through this you will be working to submit error calculation, and work towards preventative solutions should a tested part fail. There will be a requirement to submit detailed reports on your findings to be supplied to production teams and 3rd parties and to at times be able to train and provide advice to colleagues.
With this role being based in Germany you will be required to either be fluent in German, or have a strong grasp of the language as well as live or be able to relocate to a northern Germany location. 
Educationally you are required to hold either a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, and posses experience working within a Shipyard or Superyacht environment. Further qualification in the field of mechatronics would also be beneficial.

Salary
Salary for this role is Dependant on experience. Please bare in mind you will need to be located in Germany or willing to relocate
