Marathon Leisure are currently one of the largest and most successful marine wholesalers in the UK supplying an extremely comprehensive range of products to the marine OEM and Retail sectors. The company has a passionate and driven team who enjoy a close working relationship. We are constantly interacting with one another to develop new and innovative ideas to maintain a pre-eminent position.
Marathon is currently looking for two highly motivated individuals to join our team. The areas are the East of England and the North of England and Ireland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate customer's needs and build productive long lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Attend meeting, sales events and training's to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidates will be self motivated and driven. Must have excellent communication, questioning and listening skills; must understand the steps of the sales process, features & benefits of a product and good negotiating skills
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to plan your days/journeys economically.
Comfortable working alone as the position will require significant travel and time away from home.
A keen interest in any type of watersports or fishing together with a sound technical knowledge would be a definite advantage but not absolutely necessary.
The position offers a good basic salary with a generous monthly commission and a bonus system. A company car, phone and tablet is included in the remuneration package.
