Gill is a technical sailing clothing brand established as a market leader in its field for more than 40 years.
We are looking to appoint a professional sales executive to take complete ownership of our corporate and non-retail sales activity.
As the Corporate Business Development Executive you will be responsible for developing the brands commercial presence in all corporate and non-retail sectors. Ideally you will have a background in Corporate Apparel sales, bringing knowledge and experience of the sector. We are looking for experience of selling personalised apparel, uniform, and event merchandise to a variety clients types from large corporate to individual teams and events.
 
Important Attributes:
  • You will be a Sales Professional with an ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to manage the corporate sales process from end to end in fine detail
  • Highly proficient in quality client presentations
  • Successful background in business category development
  • General IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Integrity and professionalism, personable and articulate
  • Highly organised with a flexible approach to work
 
In addition, it would be useful to have some experience with sailing, performance sportswear or lifestyle apparel brands, and an established contact list covering existing and new areas of opportunity for the brand.
We will consider this being a field based role for the ideal person, however regular time will need to be spent in our head office near Nottingham.
Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience.  Performance bonus scheme and company car.
