Switched on Marketing Copywriter to join a leading marine technical clothing company based in the South East. 
 
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own the brand tone of voice across all channels and will be responsible for delivering a consistent copy style while creating a rich and immersive brand experience. 
 
What you will be doing:
 
Copy
  • Develop, manage and own the CLIENT tone of voice
  • Own copy writing & editing across all channels, ensuring copy adheres to brand values
  • Manage all CLIENT copy projects and tasks from brief to delivery
Brand copy
Write, collate and manage all brand copy including brand guidelines, brand book, brand messaging, partnerships, press releases, blog posts, product descriptions, work book copy, event collateral and vertical channel advertising copy.
 
Catalogue copy
Write, collate and manage introductions, features and other content
 
Digital Marketing copy
Write, collate and manage all copy for the digital marketing team including, email copy, SEO & PPC Ad copy, assisting with Social Media where necessary
 
Website copy
  • Write, collate and manage all copy working closely with the Ecommerce team to ensure all content is on brand and up to date including homepage, landing pages and buying guide areas of website
  • A/B test copy and CTA’s where possible and report on findings and best practise.
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will be confident enough to co-ordinate and manage new editorial requirements from around the business, often with short deadlines and rapidly shifting commercial requirements. You’ll also need to demonstrate a consistent and seamless tone of voice that supports and maintains the customer journey across all touch points. 
  • You will love the outdoors and active living
  • An expert copywriter working for a premium sports brand
  • As well as great writing skills, you’ll need to possess some commercial acumen and understanding, and, as such, your writing will reflect customer/audience needs to drive engagement.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the sailing, shooting & equestrian disciplines is essential. 
  • Creativity and passion – innovator, original thinking, love of travel
  • Excellent writing and English language skills – can switch from immersive storytelling to sharp, concise copy
  • You will be able to adapt your copy for different end uses – creative, social, commercial, promotional, personal
