Due to the recent confirmation of a near-full order book for the coming 18 months, a leading International Boatbuilder has identified a requirement for a Naval Architect to join the designated Design office team.
With the brand continuing to use more and more Composites in their builds, the Composites department has grown extensively in the past 5 years, bringing in expertise across the board to service this crucial area of the business.
Reporting to the Head of Naval Architecture and Product Development, this role will be integral to the Composites side of the business. You will be driving the continuous improvement in the design, quality and way in which Composite componentry is produced whilst also ensuring BOMs are updated and managed correctly.
Furthermore you will be working with production to produce the correct drawings for manufacture, ensuring that everything is kept in line with the overall requirements of the business.
To be considered for this role you will be required to have gained a degree or similar in Naval Architecture and, if possible, gained hands-on composite knowledge through either a placement year or through professional experience.
