Harken UK are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their growing team. As part of this challenging role you will be responsible for ensuring that the supply chain runs efficiently from ordering through to dispatch.
 
Your primary responsibilities will be:
 
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure all products are booked in, put away and invoices are correct
  • Manage the dispatch process including freight handling, scheduling and documentation 
  • Manage and negotiate relationships with both suppliers and carriers
  • Manage stock replenishment purchasing
  • Maintain purchasing criteria
  • Update and maintain price structures
  • Work with the warehouse manager to conduct stock checks and manage stock discrepancies
  • Monitor and clear slow and non-moving stock items
  • Maintain stock control strategy, targets and conduct regular reporting
  • Work with procurement co-ordinator to organise new kit set up, build manuals and logistics
  • Manage kitting resources and scheduling
  • Manage the quality control process
  • Maintain Pricing Structures
 
This is a challenging role which will be best suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has a minimum of 2 years experience in a purchasing role as well as experience using stock control software. Some sailing knowledge would be an advantage. 
Salary:
Salary will be dependent on experience
