The Van Sales Executive at Marlow Ropes is a field sales role driving our well stocked, branded van around key UK sailing locations. You will be visiting chandlers, riggers, boat yards and boat builders selling our premium range of leisure marine ropes and accessories. Whilst the role predominantly covers the South Coast and the East Coast of England, it also includes visits to the South West, Midlands and Northern Ireland.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who can demonstrate tenacity, empathy and trust and is capable of building relationships with existing customers and developing new business with prospects. It is the ideal role for someone looking to develop a career in sales.
You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, will be IT literate and confident in the use of MS Office suite and will possibly have experience of CRM packages. A clean driving licence is required.
A knowledge and understanding of sailing or the leisure marine industry is desirable, but not essential. Most important is enthusiasm, credibility and the desire to succeed.
Salary
The salary range of £22,000 – £25,000 depending upon experience, is negotiable for the right candidate and represents On Target Earnings of basic + commission
