An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the RS Sailing in the role of Marketing and Sales Coordinator. As the worlds' most desirable and fastest growing dinghy sailing brand, our product range includes small sailboats for junior learners through to expert high tech skiffs and keelboats which are manufactured, distributed and sold to our high standards. The expansion of our business, especially internationally, now requires additional resource.
The likely candidate will be a career progressing, passionate dinghy sailor with a character and flair that makes lasting relationships with good customers easy. Well-presented and educated; highly literate and self-motivated; they will revel in the group of a small, close team but also be dynamic, able to think on their feet and work individually when necessary. Covering a wide range of marketing and sales tasks, they will form one of the key faces of our business to our customers. This requires a thorough and precise attitude to each job.
Online activity though our websites and social media forms the backbone of marketing operations, so experience to further this part of the business is essential. Bespoke marketing projects will also require creativity and the ability to use popular software to bring these projects to completion. Writing copy for press releases and customer contacts in a way that furthers our brand requires a deep understanding of our products and sport right from the outset. A proven track record for planning, engaging and delivering projects on time will be important for events planning and marketing projects that will be the sole responsibility of the right candidate. Building a close relationship with our export dealers overseas and further supporting their work to create classes means that experience in international trade is desirable.
A clean drivers' license and the ability to work flexible hours when required including a good deal of weekend work, is important.
