JOB DESCRIPTION

As a qualified marine engineer you will be multi talented and have a broad range of skills but to be successful in this role you must have up to date training in either Volvo Penta, MAN, Perkins or ZF marine engines and transmissions. Experience of marine generators and electrical systems desirable. You must consistently work to a high level and strive to deliver the best at all times, working away from base and unsupervised  a lot of the time you will be responsible for the quality of work delivered to the customer.

Work includes routine service and repair work on board vessels or in shipyards and workshop. Including but not restricted to engine, transmission, control systems, shaft line & couplings, domestic systems and DC electrical systems. Carrying out full workshop overhaul and repairs to manufacturer's standards, installations, commissioning and PDI's.
