JOB DESCRIPTION
The Company

The company is a successful design studio with recognition across a wide range of disciplines, who have recently taken on a large project in the super yacht industry. As a company they have clients all over the world providing designs and consultancy for many different projects.

The Role

The successful individual will be required to have at least 6 years of experience in the super yacht industry, from a managerial perspective, as well as having working knowledge of being involved with the whole process, from concept through to build delivery.

The role will entail you having to do the following but not limited to;
Managing the architectural interior design as well as managing the build process to the highest of standards.
Create the designs, drawings and technical calculations to ensure they comply with current regulations and meet the requirements of the client.
Manage the client’s team, interior and exterior designers, suppliers as well as other parties.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must be accomplished in the super and mega yacht industry as either a naval architect, project manager, project leader.
You will need to have experience in the following areas
AutoCAD (or similar) and 3D modelling
Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
Technical detailing
Exceptional eye for detail and a working understanding on safety requirements
Ideally a degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture.
You must have an impeccable attention to detail with a very strong work ethic.

Salary

£80,000pa DOE
28 days of holiday
International travel
