The Langstone Harbour Board is looking for a confident, energetic and adaptable individual to join its team of Seasonal Patrol Officers working weekends and bank holidays between Easter and October. Additional shifts are also available on midweek evenings during the peak season. The post-holder will be required to undertake harbour patrols on the Board's patrol vessels, provide information and collect charges at public slipways and man the harbour office. The post involves a great deal of contact with the public.
Applicants must have marine experience and possess a recognised qualification at least equivalent to RYA Power Boat level 2.
SRC/VHF licence, Day Skipper (shore-based) qualification and first aid certificate are all desirable but not essential.
