JOB DESCRIPTION
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Executive is the front line sales role of the Center, responsible primarily for achieving the budgeted figures for course, boat and spares sales. Specifically they will be responsible for driving the JustSail programme from this location and ensuring the centre takes full advantage of events held here at the WPNSA.
· Sell courses both over the phone and in person from the SailLaser office.
· Solely responsible for managing the JustSail Center and recording club membership, reservations, etc.
· Sell the complete range of Laser and Dart boats, spares and accessories.
· Solely responsible for managing and stocking the Events trailer.
· Help generate boat / spares sales from course clients.
· Ensure SailLaser makes maximum gains from the passing trade created by WPNSA events.
· Ensure the necessary pre and post sale administration for all sales is completed.
· Assists the Client Services Manager in running the office.
· Assist the Community Sports Coach in the administration of community course sales.
· Help create post course literature that will encourage repeat business.
· Attend boat shows when required and is an ambassador for SailLaser.
· Maintain constant communication with the rest of the SailLaser Center management team.
· Help train the instructor team on the products and services SailLaser offers.
· Fill in to teach courses, give demonstrations or lead the instructor team when required.
· Report on market sales trends.
The ideal Candidate will have the following:
· Sales experience in the marine industry.
· A basic knowledge of sailing, with certification from RYA or US Sailing as an Instructor.
· A passion for the position and the ability to work long hours / weekends
· The ability to work closely with budgets, planning and forecasting
· Customer Service experience
SALARY
GBP 19,000.00 per year+ £2,5k annual bonus and company pension
