SALES MANAGER - SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a not for profit organisation providing the maritime industry with invaluable anti-piracy ship support, advice and training so that every vessel transiting or at anchor in high risk piracy areas have access to the most up to date information and advice.

The Sales Manager role represents a new opportunity for an individual able to build business within this start up company, by finding new leads and converting them to new sales. The selected candidate will work closely with marketing and operations, but will enjoy the freedom to prospect for new opportunities themselves.

MAIN DUTIES

The role will be varied across all aspects of sales and the role will evolve with the company. At first your role will be hands on, eventually building up a small sales team to manage. You will be responsible for developing sales worldwide for our entire product suite and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will also be expected to develop sales processes and implement efficient CRM tracking in our database.

ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS

The ideal candidate will be from a Maritime background preferably Merchant or commercial. A hands on approach to sales that is used to communicating with international customers. Must have demonstrable experience of establishing new customers, closing sales and achieving targets.The successful candidate must be highly organised and efficient.

SALARY
