JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a growing specialist in the provision of Marine, Engineering and Health and Safety support on offshore wind, wave and tidal projects and they are recruiting an Engineering and Marine Manager.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Engineering & Marine Manager is responsible for the successful management of the Engineering, Marine and HSE team and client projects.

Scope of responsibilities includes:

Managing a team of staff (10-20) and associates to effectively resource Marine, Engineering and HSE departments to achieve the financial and functional milestones of projects

    * Define & deliver the strategic plans of the consultancy departments in line with the vision of the Company
    * Provide Offshore Construction project management
    * Provide review of designs and offshore structures
    * Management of internal client project budgets and cost controls
    * Assist with Operations and Maintenance strategies for wind, wave and tidal projects
    * Provide expertise on vessel design and construction
    * Developing renewable energy projects and new business
    * Set up and attend team & strategic meetings where required.


Consideration will be given to candidates with Marine Engineering experience who have the drive and ambition to develop into a leadership role.

Experience in renewable industry desirable but not essential

SALARY

Up to £75,000pa plus benefits
