SALES AND OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - £18,000 - SOUTHAMPTON, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities:

    * Complete booking process from enquiry to completion of the booking procedure
    * Meeting and greeting customers upon arrival
    * Taking payments and creating invoices
    * Assist with event logistics
    * General office duties


Ideal candidate will:

    * Need experience of using Microsoft Office software
    * Have good telephone manner and communication skills
    * Have sales experience
    * Be very customer focused
    * Have a flexible attitude to working overtime including occasional weekends
    * Have an ability to work as part of a team in a small company
    * Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
    * Have an active interest in yachting
    * Be able to work on own their initiative and prioritise tasks with minimum supervision
    * Be a part of our exhibition team at the London & Southampton Boat Shows
    * Possess knowledge of the RYA Cruising scheme (desirable but not essential)
