Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer, with experience in design and development within the leisure marine, commercial marine or automotive sectors?
We're working with a well known operator within the marine sector that provides both services and vessels across the UK. With a growing workforce and satellite sites around the country, they are looking to employ a skilled Engineer on a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
Reporting the Senior Engineering Team and running a design team below you, your skills will be required to carry out continuous development to either new or existing craft. Working across a number of departments, you and your team will produce the relevant designs, production drawings and classification documentation to be forwarded to the production team for manufacture.
You'll be able to troubleshoot on designs, working to find suitable and cost-effective solutions and forwarding these to the management team.
Cool under pressure and a technically-minded person, you will strive to exceed expectations at all times, passing on your knowledge and experience both to your team and your end customer.
