Its no secret that the Dutch superyacht industry is leading the way in terms of the number of yachts being built for the busy superyacht market.
With a number of large yards now building yachts in excess of 100m in length, the assosciated infrastructure and staffing levels need to be increased to cope with market demand.
In this instance the requirement has been identified as a need for a Project Leader Engineering. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this is a key position that will bring a number of sub-departments together for each consecutive superyacht build, acting as a lead point of contact to ensure the project is built to the right standard, on time and within budget.
You'll work initially with the design office to review all documentation, allowing you to build a suitable production plan to see the project through. Working with each department under your control, you will guide, manage and educate in order to ensure the smooth running of a build that meets all key KPIs set by the management team.
A multi-tasker, you'll have a forward thinking attitude and an eye for detail. You'll be able to successfully mastermind a project from start to finish, delegating where necessary and work across departments in order to achieve to the highest standards of work.
This client is seeking a committed individual who will look to join the brand with a view to spending 3-5 years plus with them. In turn they offer excellent potential both in terms of package and role prgression
