This is a senior role for an experienced Sales Manager who will be required to generate income through the existing customer base of a well respected manufacturer of technical marine products. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer service and retention of key international clients, providing technical support and identifying new opportunities for driving growth. You will have a sound understanding of market activity in the marine leisure sector.
The Account Manager will join a driven and dedicated sales force, reporting into the Sales Manager. You will be responsible for developing a strategy to increase market share and be responsible for all bids, negotiating and pricing. You will work closely with the design and production team across new projects and provide input for product development based on your knowledge of the clients' ongoing needs.
Essential
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- A strong track record in sales or account management, pricing levels and margins.
- A marine background and understanding of the industry.
- Excel and Powerpoint.
You will be required to travel.
