JOB DESCRIPTION
The day-to-day running of the Marine Leisure Association (MLA) business. Working closely with MLA committee and BMF staff to provide an efficient and purposeful service for the members. The role includes implementation of the business plan and operating budget including management accounts, handling member enquires and providing support and advice to members. The role includes marketing responsibilities including management of the website, event programme and brochure production.
Applicants must have marine industry experience and preferably knowledge of Sea Schools/Charter/RYA. Also budget control/office management experience a must.
The Marine Leisure Association is a group association of the British Marine Federation. The role reports to the Marketing manager at BMF and the MLA committee. The role is based on 4 days per week but it is a totally flexible role, both in terms of location and hours.
