JOB DESCRIPTION
London's foremost river boat service. Operating a fast and frequent service (every 20 minutes) up and down the Thames, we are now seeking pro-active people to become part of the team.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will oversee the day to day operations of the vessels and crew for Thames Clippers, controlling the mooring equipment required for both day and night operations, monitoring and spot checking that all safety procedures are adhered to by all team members and ensuring that all services provided by Thames Clippers run to the scheduled timetable.
You will constantly review the timetables and operating periods to keep the business in line with its customers needs and you will provide effective, strong leadership to the crew of approximately 40 employees which will include monitoring salary expenditure and making sure this remains in line with the company budget.
With an in-depth working knowledge of the ISM and HSS Craft codes, you will fully understand High Speed Craft operations and have strong, previous management experience for a team in excess of 30 people.
A team player who is committed to providing the highest levels of customer service; you will also have an understanding of budgets and enjoy working in a challenging environment.
SALARY
This positions offers £50,000pa plus 10% bonus
