MARINE ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION

Set in a very attractive part of the country; with the Mountains of North Wales as your view; this family run business has been established for over 20 years. They are looking for a new Marine Electronics Technician with significant experience of low voltage marine systems.

They provide bespoke services from design & supply, to installation & after sales support of marine electronics & entertainment systems.

This will be an interesting position where you will be involved in a variety of jobs from installations to reparation; where flexibility and a quick diagnosis are key to this role.

You will be dealing with a large range of high end products including navigation & communication systems; thrusters and windlasses; autopilots and heating & refrigeration…

Installation & Interfacing Of
Autopilots
Radar
Status InstrumentsCommunications - VHF, HF, Satellite
Sounders
Entertainment Systems - Audio & Video

Dc Power Systems Installation Including:
Battery Chargers
Inverters

This is a 'hands on' position and will involve up mast work.

The successful candidate will have current experience with prominent brands including RAYMARINE, FURUNO and NAVICO including B&G.

It is essential that candidates are happy with the location before applying.

SALARY


£20,000 to £22,500 pa – This may vary depending on the skills and experience brought to the company.
