MARITIME SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The PR & Marketing Executive is responsible for all PR and new customer acquisition for all Tui Marine Brands including; Sunsail, The Moorings, Le Boat & Club Vass via all offline and online routes to market.

This position will require close collaboration with all parts of the marketing department to ensure that PR and marketing opportunities are not missed. A full understanding and passion for the brands will be required.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of the UK's leading specialist retailer of maps and travel books. Their flagship store in London's Covent Garden first opened its doors in January 1901 and today carries their complete range of maps, books and travel related goods. In addition, our client also has a store in Bristol and Manchester.

They now require a full time Maritime Sales Manager to manager their busy marine department based in London which specilises in the sales of charts and other navigational aids.

The successful candidate will be solely incharge of:

1. Sales
2. Stock Display and Merchandising
3. Purchasing & Stock Management
4. Trading Relationships
5. Human Resources
6. Exhibitions & Events
7. Marketing
8. Financial Management
9. Security

The ideal candidate will be a young enthusiastic person preferable with a retails sales background ideally within the marine industry. They must also have a solid understanding of the various marine navigational aids. An ability to work on your own initiative is imperative, and the drive to take this already well established department forward within the marine world is vital.

SALARY

Negotiable and dependant on age and experience
