JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client are Based in the West Country on the Devon/Dorset border and offer a large range of marine services from surveying to engine maintenance. They are now looking for a skilled individual to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a sound engineering background, with experience in and a love of marine craft, and possess a positive attitude and the degree of flexibility, which befits a small business. Our client is a family business (5 employees) and now need an enthusiastic, hands-on engineer who will enjoy the challenge of working in this varied environment and generally managing the day-to-day activities of the workshop.
Proven experience with both diesel and petrol inboard and outboard engines is essential, although product training is available and is ongoing. Working hours are Monday to Friday 0830 to 1700 and 0830 to 1300 on Saturdays (a one in three rota is in operation regarding Saturdays off). The nature of their business demands flexibility from all staff and in return the position offers the right candidate job satisfaction and growth potential.
