WEB MANAGER - £24,000-£28,000pa - SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is based within the marketing department reporting into the Group Marketing Manager. Working to maintain and develop 2 primary websites that are central to the group's organisation, alongside many smaller bespoke websites, central to this role is increasing traffic via improved search engine rankings.

This group includes the largest boat sales networks in Europe and one of the UK's most respected boat yards. This is a new role to bring a concerted focus to the group's online presence. Some departments have recently benefitted from significant SEO improvements, but those less well maintained require a similar impetus. This role is being created to increase the level of traffic to all sites within the group.

The role will manage the day to day content requirements of the various websites within the group, implement and manage ad hoc and ongoing online marketing campaigns, and maintain the brand guidelines of the group on the web.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the internal discussions regarding the future digital development of each department. Experience of working on or managing web projects as well as working with design agencies would therefore be advantageous although not essential.

The successful candidate will probably come from an e-commerce or similarly competitive product focused background. Increasing traffic via the implementation of an effective SEM approach, combined with the ownership of the day to day requirements of a strong online presence will make this role appealing to candidates from all manner of industries.
