JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting directly to, and working closely with the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be working to strengthen existing European customer relationships and making further inroads into the various market sectors. This position will involve considerable overseas travel where a second language would be preferred but not essential. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual with a proven sales background in the marine, safety and electronics market. Candidates will also need to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To promote and actively sell Mcmurdo Ltd products throughout the defined territory.
- To manage existing sales channels and seek out new business opportunities aiding growth.
- To achieve/exceed annual sales targets.
- To implement sales/marketing strategies across territory in accordance with group strategy.
- To develop brand awareness throughout territory with various marketing activities.
- To ensure that business relationships are strengthened
This position is based at our Portsmouth office and will benefit from a competitive package.
