Our client, a well known name within the leisure marine industry, is currently recruiting for a PR & Communications Executive to join their team in Surrey.

Reporting to the PR Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
1. Organisation of media centre at boat shows to ensure the smooth running of facilities, including the management of suppliers and temporary staff
2. Take a key role in the creation and distribution of press materials, working with agency resource where necessary, to deliver maximum beneficial coverage for the company.
3. Work with the PR Manager/ Marketing Manager/Webmaster to ensure suitable and relevant editorial/press information is created and disseminated appropriately via various channels, including website
4. Work with the PR Manager to act as first port of call for all press enquiries from a range of journalists (national/regional/trade) to ensure that the company can benefit from the best/most positive press coverage possible
5. Maintain databases in accordance with latest guidelines
6. Create, edit, and distribute weekly the e-newsletter to circa 5500 subscribers to promote the activities and keep members up-to-date with latest news
7. Where appropriate to work with exhibitors, sponsors and other third parties in leveraging their investment through editorial exposure where it benefits all parties

£24,000 pa
