JOB DESCRIPTION
UNITEAM YACHTING was established in 2009 as a yacht services company to offer all types of management functions to large yacht Owners.
As part of our effort in training yachting crew of the highest standard, our selected Trainees initially undergo in-house internationally recognised familiarisation and safety courses at the UNITEAM MARINE training centre, in Yangon – Myanmar, utilising our simulators, workshops and other classroom facilities.
Thereafter the Trainees will receive practical training on board a Motor and two Sailing yachts in the Mergui Archipelago in the Andaman Sea, amongst the more than 800 islands.
The students being new entrants in yachting although young and inexperienced have a high morale and their success depends on the overall tuition to be received.
The right applicant should be a skilled professional of strong personality leading by example, with very good communication skills. Would have to assist in developing a training module and also teach the students to the RYA standards on board a 115’ Motor yacht, a 77’ Ketch and a second 42’ Sailing boat to be acquired.
SALARY
Remuneration according to experience.
Accommodation, Accident Insurance, local Medical cover and Vacation benefits including air travel to/from Yangon during vacation.
