JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading and rapidly expanding marine engineering company that specialise in high worth bespoke products for superyachts.
They are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer with experience of Hydraulic and Electrical control systems to work in a project based role.
The role includes making hydraulic calculations as well as laying out drawings for hydraulic and electrical control systems in line with client’s requirements, then come up with build specs. These products will them be manufactured and fitted to superyachts around the globe.
Ideal Candidates will hold a recognised mechanical engineering qualification and will be computer literate with a solid understanding of AUTO CAD packages, ideally ‘INVENTOR’ but this is not essential.
Most importantly candidates must be adaptable team players who are willing to listen and learn from their colleagues as well as bring a proactive and detailed approach to the team.
Candidates must have previously worked within a small/medium sized business and must have worked in a similar role.
