JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is currently recruiting for a General Manager to manage the day to day running of their organisation.
This is a part time position offering 30 hours per week, over 4 days, based at their Head Office in Surrey.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the organisation, in its entirety, including;
· Responsibility for the development and implementation of the annual business plan
· Responsibility for an annual operating budget
· General administration duties
· Handling member enquires and providing excellent customer service to recruit and retain members
· Coordination of meetings, papers and minutes
· Organisation of Boat show stands and working on the stand handling customer enquires and promoting our client’s members
· Management of the website and associated member listings and banner advertising targets
· Organisation of information stands at NBS Boat Shows and others deemed to be within scope and budget
· Organise profitable consolidated advertising within specialist press and commercial initiatives for members
The position requires candidates to have excellent administrative and organisational skills. You must have a confident and outgoing personality, and relevant experience within a leisure marine related company.
5 years experience within an office / administrative role is a must.
Candidates should also have a good knowledge of Charter companies / Sailing Schools / RYA.

SALARY
£20,000 - £22,500 pa depending on experience
