APPLICATION SUPPORT - YACHT COATINGS –£20,000-£25,000 pa - SOUTH, UK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Based at our client's Southampton office, the purpose of this new position is to establish the technical feasibility of new application technologies and to facilitate the introduction of new application technologies into their Yacht business. This position will report to the Yacht Commercial Development Manager.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

• Evaluation and optimisation of application processes
• Demonstration of application techniques to internal and external customers
•  New product testing and evaluation
• Delivery of practical application training
• Development of application instruction documentation
• Boat show visits and occasional visits to customer vessels

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Professional spray paint application experience
• A working knowledge of two-pack paint systems
• The ability to communicate with customers and employees at different levels
• Competency with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• The flexibility to travel throughout Europe and the Middle East
• Knowledge of boat construction methods and processes

A training programme will tailored to reflect the experience and needs of successful candidates.

SALARY 

£20,000 - £25,000
