JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant will require experience on a vast amount of marine engine makes, however additional training will be arranged where/if necessary.
The successful applicant will be required to work with the rest of the engineering team, keeping them informed and ensuring that all work is completed.
The successful applicant must be prepared to carry out the following roles
- To work on all jobs allocated by the manager
- To join a very well established small
- You will be working on small diesels & petrol, stern drives, inboard & outboard engines
- Previous experience on the above engines is vital
- You will have to work on Ribs, Power boats & yachts
- Carry out repairs & replacements as appropriate in a reasonable time span
- From time to time you will have to carry out other boatyard activities as and when required
The applicant must be confident, well motivated, and able to use their initiative and enjoy the challenge of working in a small but busy and fast paced boat yard.
Salary
- £16,000- £20,000 + package or benefits
- 44.5 hour weeks
- Saturdays will be worked on a rota
- 20 days holiday plus statuary amount
