PCT is currently working on an impressive portfolio of marine projects building Grand Prix racing yachts, performance cruisers and power boats.  The company works with many of the world's leading designers and naval architects on projects such as the Farr 280 One Design, The Carkeek C40 MkII, C47 and C60 as well the new fully foiling GC32 Catamaran.

Category Buyer Marine - Purchasing & Supply Chain
                                                                      
We seek a strong Category Buyer to support our Marine Business Unit.  Generically, the job holder will be responsible for various aspects of the Purchasing and Supply Chain processes including quotations, purchase orders, management of deliveries, and resolution of quality issues and monitoring of supplier performance.  Co-ordination with key stakeholders to ensure items and services are delivered in line with project design requirements and schedules will be a key part of the role.

Candidate will be able to demonstrate 3+ years in a similar purchasing or commercial role within their specific field. Strong negotiation skills, fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential, as is the ability to read engineering drawings.  Successful candidates will also have a good working knowledge of ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX being an advantage).

Specific key competencies are as follows:

.       In depth knowledge of Leisure Marine Industry Suppliers
.       Technical background of yacht systems and composites will be a strong advantage

From time to time, it will also be necessary to support Purchasing and Supply Chain activities for other Business Units as required by PCT.
