JOB DESCRIPTION
The company is a leading manufacturer of a proprietary, digital bridge control system for leisure yachts, super yachts and commercial vessels, which has found the need for a permanent in house Marine Electrical Design Engineer.

The main responsibilities of this role are to design the system’s electrical plans along with distribution schematics to the ship with technical specifications. You must be able to identify and solve any potential issues with the system’s integration and deal with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

The right candidate will have a HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering and have experience working with 440-230-115 and 24V electrical systems.

You must be able to produce electrical distribution schematics with technical specs and have knowledge of LR Rules and Regulations for the classification of ships.

Experience of dealing with equipment suppliers and manufacturers is a bonus.

Salary

£30,000 - £38,000 DOE
