JOB DESCRIPTION
The Company
One of the world’s premier Leisure Yacht and Super Yacht brokerages has a need to sure up their Service department in South East Asia. The company is world class and renown for being a great employer.

The Service Dept. based from Singapore has a large team of highly skilled technicians from a multitude of professional and cultural backgrounds and deals with the commissioning, maintenance and warranty work in the Malaysia and Indonesia region.

The Role

• The Service Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the commissioning, maintenance and warranty work carried out by the technicians and undertaking the final inspections.
• Keeping detailed records of all technical and service work carried out.
• Collection and Delivery management.
• Collaborate with Accounts Dept and Brokers on paperwork responsibilities.
• Schedule and organize the Technicians as well as sub-contractors.
• Issue cost estimations and invoices.
• Maintain good, professional relationships with Captains, Owners, Shipyards, Marinas as well as fellow employees.
• Training employees
• Push for an efficient completion of all work.
• Boat show set-up.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate has relevant experience in the marine industry – operations, management or manufacturing. International business experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Technical knowledge of sail and motor yacht motors and hull maintenance are imperative.
• Marine Engineering back ground – Mechanical (Electro-Mech).
• The candidate will be as comfortable in overalls, working onboard the boats, as they are in a suit.
• Experience in managing multicultural teams.
• Great organisation and communication skills are crucial.
• Experience in yacht commissioning and rigging is a key bonus.
