JOB DESCRIPTION
A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Actisense, the award winning brand known for excellence in the design and manufacture of intelligent marine electronic interfaces and networking products. Due to premises expansion and growing sales, we need a talented Technical Support Engineer. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Duties include:
- Providing advice to new and existing customers who are considering the purchase of an Actisense product
- Providing solutions to customer issues in a timely manner, reaching a satisfactory resolution
- Efficiently handle any product returns through the defined processes
- Offer technical guidance and explanations to customers to assist decision making
- Handle all interactions professionally, keeping to agreed commitments
- Maintain and improve product documentation
- Perform firmware/software verification tests on new product releases as part of the QA team
Knowledge management:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Actisense products
- Maintain a customer focused environment that encourages information sharing within the team
- Create knowledge articles to be shared with customers
- Attend external training courses for continued professional development
The successful candidate will ideally hold an HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering and/or have experience in the field.
