A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Events Technology Specialist ETS) to join a leading event management business who manage competitive teams, host events, and provide consultancy both on and off the water.
Role of the Event Technology Specialist:
- As the Event Technology Specialist you will be required to ensure a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation and breakdown of the audiovisual equipment, ensure all items are accounted for before and after each event by following proper security, storage, transportation and maintenance procedures.
- You will understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues, including sound systems, LCD's, projectors, and PC's, you will handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
- You will strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers, and understand and develop the hotel/venue/client relationship.
- You will also be required to perform preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it presentable and in good working condition, lead the team in proper security, storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment.
Essential Key Requirements:
- This is a Mac Based office so a knowledge of Apple hardware, OS X and iOS is essential
- 2+ years’ experience in Networking/IT Systems Administration
- A strong technical understanding of Networks, Server Administration and Cloud based technologies
- A working knowledge of Linux and Unix
- A passion for sport
- Happy to travel internationally for 30% of your role to fantastic locations
